Petition Presentation
		A petition containing over 13,000 signatures was delivered to No 10 Downing Street on Wednesday 8th April. Pictured left, with petition organiser Joan Butters holding the petition in the foreground, are members of Newcastle Cemetery Action Group in front of Newcastle under Lyme Civic Offices prior to their departure for London.

		The petition being handed over. Along with NCAG members is pictured Conservative MP for Stafford, Bill Cash. Tony Blair was not present in Downing Street at the time as he was in Ireland at the peace talks. Thanks are given to local garage, Marsons, for the provision (free of charge) of a "people carrier" for the trip to London.
